Cyprus Taxi Transfers On Time For Any Event Indoors or Outdoors!
Spring is just around the corner but Cyprus taxi transfers aim to always be ahead of the curve! Whether picking up business passengers attending a conference, athletes participating at an outdoor sporting event or visitors joining the local community celebrating at a festival. In between, there’s always important items to urgently deliver, such as hard copy documents, special occasion bouquets, takeaway meals, forgotten door-keys, computer cables, phone chargers...
With average temperatures around a pleasant 15-18c, everyone looks forward to the festivals and carnivals that appear in the run up to Easter and throughout the summer season. One of the well-known around the world is the Limassol Carnival - originally celebrated before the fasting period of Lent begins – comprising 10 days (20 Feb – 1 Mar) of non-stop troubadour singing and dancing, boisterous street parades, and fantastic mask and costume balls.
Larnaca taxi for Limassol Carnival and Aglantzia Carnival Parade
The first week of carnival is known as ‘Meat Week’ with much eating of meat and wine with the strong aroma of barbecue smoke wafting across the entire town, followed by “Cheese Week”, and the busy consumption of cheese! Festivities begin and also reach their vibrant climax with the magnificent entrance of the King of the Carnival leading a huge colourful procession across the town.
Nicosia enjoys its own Aglantzia Carnival Parade ( 20 – 23 Feb) for all the family, followed by 70s & 80s retro themed music and dancing with a huge feast of food and drinks, inflatable slides, face painting, contests, prizes and many other secret surprises promised. Transferring visitors and participants to an outdoor of a very different kind is also coming up on pre-booked Larnaca airport taxi schedules...
Cyprus taxi transfers for Cyprus Sunshine Epic
For nearly a quarter of century, the Cyprus Sunshine Cup endured as a well-known annual fixture on the mountain bike race calendar. Since 1997, many of the world's biggest names in the sport have flexed sinew and muscle along the magnificent scenic routes of the Troodos mountain range.
In 2020, the newly named Cyprus Sunshine Epic (Thu 27 Feb – Sun 1 Mar) continues the historic mountain bike racing tradition, but athletes will now compete in teams of two, not individually, as is the more standard practice in the world of mountain biking.
One tradition that definitely won’t be changing is local Cyprus hospitality. Villages along each stage of the 4-day, 133 km route will once more prepare specialties like grilled bread dipped in extra virgin olive oil, lemon and herbs, loukoumades (Cyprus donuts), fruits and other tasty snacks.
There is one more tradition that stays reassuringly the same for any event, indoors or outdoors – Cyprus taxi transfers can always be relied upon for every journey wherever the pick up or drop off is required.
Arrive promptly at any event, indoors or outdoors!
